Servicing of the cottage
The lady servicing your cottage is Thabile.
The cottage will be serviced once a day starting @ about 9am, should you not wish to be disturbed please mention this to us the day before.
Linen will be changed every 4th day.
Should you wish to leave a tip please feel free to do so.
Laundry Service is available during the week.
Shopping
The Lüneburg Cash Store has a wide variety of groceries should you have forgotten anything
Their shopping hours are weekdays from 8h00 - 12h00 and 13h00 - 17h00 and on Saturday from 08h00 – 13h00
The Lüneburg Butchery has high quality meat available, their shopping hours are weekdays from 07h00 – 13h00 and on Saturday from 08h00 – 12h00
Country Treats
It is possible to order a wide range of home made produce in advance - these items will be placed in the cottage prior to your arrival and billed separately.
The goods available include:
- Home made rusks
- Home made biscuits
- Chocolate Cake
- Apple Pie
- Bienstich - sponge cake with custard filling and rolled oats topping Butterkuchen - speciality german cake Prinz Eugen
- Torte - nut base with whipped cream filling Cheesecake Jars of home-made jam / marmalade ( seasonal ) Fresh farm butter

Meat Supply
Per request vacuum packed organic meat products can also be ordered in advance and placed in your cottage for your convenience.
These items include:
- Rump
- T-Bone
- Lüneburg Sausage - similar to boerewors
- Cheese griller sausages
- Lamb chops
- Pork chops
- Sosaties
- Mettwurst - traditional german meat spread for bread
- Teewurst - traditional german meat spread for bread
Supper
A number of ready made meals are available for your convenience, they must however be ordered in advance.
- Lasagne with salad
- Fruity chicken with rice and salad
- Bobotie with rice & salad
- Cottage pie & salad
Charcoal
You will find Charcoal together with the braai at the cottage. The bags cost R10.00 please make a note of what you have used and settle on departure.
Firewood & Anthracite
A good supply of firewood and anthracite is kept at the cottage and will be replenished as need be. Please take care when using the fireplace not to overstoke.
